Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir
Wine
Giaconda Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir is grown in the estate vineyard in the foothills of the Victorian Alps. At 400 metres above sea level, the vines enjoy a cool climate and slow ripening conditions.
The grapes are destemmed and crushed. With some whole bunches, they are wild yeast fermented in large concrete tanks. The wine is basket pressed to French oak to mature for two years in Giaconda's underground cave.
Bright crimson, Giaconda Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir is perfumed, vibrant and spicy. It has a dark red fruit core, firm tannins and a lasting finish. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
